These luscious morsels are cultivated naturally in Ghazni, Parwan, and Kandahar Provinces of Afghanistan. Green, red and black raisins are produced in abundance in Afghanistan, being the largest agricultural “industry”.  However, these raisins are manually harvested and naturally dried free of any chemicals or oils.
  • They contain iron which helps treat anaemia as well as many vitamin-B-complex elements and copper, essential for the formation of red blood cells
  • These tasty morsels are a good source of vitamin A, A-Beta Carotene and A-Carotenoid, essential for good eye health.
  • Catechin, a phenolic anti-oxidant present in raisins, is very effective for the prevention of colon cancer.
  • Polyphenolic phytonutrients in raisins are particularly good for ocular health, protecting eyes from damage caused by free radicals (oxidants)
They contain many vitamins, minerals and amino acids which facilitate absorption of other nutrients and proteins in the body. Phenolic Phytonutrients, known for their germicidal, antibiotic and anti-oxidant properties, are plentiful helping the body to fight viral and bacterial infections. These delicious dried fruits are one of the best sources of Boron, a micro nutrient necessary for proper bone and teeth formation and absorption of calcium thereby helping to prevent osteoporosis. Oleanolic Acid is crucial in protecting against tooth decay, cavities, and brittle teeth as well as effectively preventing the growth of Streptococcus Mutans and Porphyromonas Gingivalis, two species of bacteria most responsible for cavities and other dental problems.
